PHSE Italia has recently obtained the Gender Equality Certification issued by IBC, a leading certification company. It is a natural consequence of the process started a couple of years ago with the preparation of the ESG Report, which highlights the importance that social, environmental and governance issues have for the Group.
In order to become the first company in its sector to obtain Gender Equality Certification, PHSE went through a careful audit process based on the measurement of all six indicator areas (KPIs) provided by the guidelines in accordance with UNI/PdR 125:2022: culture and strategy, governance, HR management processes, opportunities for growth and inclusion of women in the company, gender pay equity, parental protection and work-life balance.
“Gender equality and self-determination for all women is a nationally and internationally accepted goal, covered by both the UN 2030 Agenda and the European Union guidelines. Principles that PHSE has made it a priority to integrate into its corporate objectives. This certification represents only the first step in a path of implementation of gender equality policies aimed at reducing the gender gap in all its forms in any area of our organisation and developing programmes to support parenting/care and work-life balance”, commented Antonella Capraro, Quality Specialist and member of the PHSE Gender Equality Steering Committee.
“Certification has already proved to be a concrete and valuable tool, creating culture and awareness on gender equality at all company levels. Over the next three years, the actions of the strategic plan will be aimed at ensuring a cultural context at work that favours gender equality, women’s employment, women’s empowerment, work-life balance and inclusiveness. The aspiration is to create a virtuous model that can be an example for the realities that operate in the same sector, where in Italy the presence of women in the transport sector stands at only 12.5%”, concluded Eddy De Vita, Executive President of PHSE.
PHSE, together with PHD Lifescience Italy , is proud to participate to Wired Health, the Wired Italia event dedicated to digital technologies applied to the world of medicine, health and healthcare.
The event will be held on Wednesday, March 13, at BASE Milan. For the first time Eddy De Vita will bring the topic of healthcare logistics and patient support and services programs to such an important stage.
During the #WiredHealth 2024 day, some of the main macro-themes that are transforming the world of health will be addressed, such as the centrality of patients, the role of data and artificial intelligence, the territoriality of medicine, the effects of the implementation of Pnrr-Mission 6 Health, innovation and sustainability of business models.
