Our story

Founded in 1999, PHSE has focused since its inception on the logistical management of clinical trials, later specialising in active temperature-controlled shipping (Active Cool Chain) for pharmaceuticals, biotech, biological samples and clinical trials serving the hospital, home care and clinical research channels. In 2020, the entry of Eddy De Vita into the corporate structure, at 70%, supported by the investment fund NB Aurora, marks an important step in the development of PHSE’s international platform, which counts 4 acquisitions between 2021 and 2022: TEK Freight (UK), Rapida Time & Temperature (India), Duimex (Italy) and Bio Transportes (Brazil).
Today, PHSE is trusted by leading companies around the world to manage their time critical and temperature sensitive logistics needs.

2002

Pharma Service opened a small office in Fiano Romano.

1999

PHSE was founded as Pharma Service.

2006

Pharma Service becomes PHSE.

2005

The Milan office in Cesano Boscone was opened.

2012

The company decides to invest to become a leader in the pharmaceutical distribution market as well. In 4 years, it starts 9 new direct branches. The head office is moved to Milan (Legnano).

2011

PHSE operates exclusively in the clinical trials logistics sector and has become a leader and reference point in Italy.

2015

PHSE enters the American market. First office in the USA, in New York.

2014

PHSE goes international by setting up its first office in London. Won the SMAU award as the transport company with the most Technological Innovation.

2018

PHSE wins Financial Times “FT 1000 Europe's Fastest Growing Compalies” award for the second year running.

2017

PHSE opens a major new logistics hub in Rome (Monterotondo) . PHSE sets up its own office in Singapore.

2020

PHSE opens its new Pharma Hub in Lodi. The site is equipped with the best technology, including a modern sorter for the automation, speed and accuracy of the order sorting process.
